How do I log in?
To log in as a parent: dashboard.nightzookeeper.com/login. The username is your email and your password can be changed on the login page by clicking ‘forgot your password’.
To log in a child: nightzookeeper.com/edu/login. Their password can be changed by clicking on their Profile > Settings > and then the pencil next to the password.
Please note that spaces before or after usernames and passwords may stop them from being recognized.
How do I change the difficulty level?
You can change the difficulty level linked to your child's account by logging in to your dashboard, accessing your child's profile settings and clicking onto "Level of Difficulty".
How do I use the Night Zookeeper tablet/phone app?
You can download the Night Zookeeper app on your Apple iPad or iPhone from the App Store.
After downloading the app, simply press 'I have an account'. Next, enter the email address that you used to create the account, as well as the password, and press the 'Login' button.
How do I personalize my child’s Night Zookeeper experience?
You can personalize the program to suit your child’s current learning abilities through your dashboard, for example if you'd like them to focus on a particular skill! To disable/enable program features, click onto “Features”.
How do I check my child's progress?
To check your child's progress, simply log into your dashboard and click onto "Progress".
How can I add a child to my plan?
To add a child to your existing plan, simply log in to your dashboard and access your settings by clicking onto "Manage Account". From there, scroll to the bottom of the page and click "Add child".
How do I remove a child profile from my account?
To remove a child profile from your account, please email us at [email protected] and include the username of the profile you wish to remove. Please note that once an account has been removed all the data will be lost and cannot be recovered.
How do I set an assignment for my child to complete?
To set an assignment, log in to your dashboard and click on "Assignments". You'll then be able to choose from different writing prompts and lessons which can be set with a due date for them to be completed by!
How to become a Superfan?
Children can become Superfans at any point and it is absolutely free! By clicking the icon on their profile when logged into the Zoo, a request will be sent to their parents email and once approved they will receive a special badge on their icon and 20 orbs! For parents it means sometimes we will ask you to give us feedback or share special offers, or competitions we're running in parenting groups. In return we’ll give you free resources, merchandise and early access to new features!
How do I manage my subscription?
Visit “Manage Account” in your dashboard to make changes to your payment details, modify your subscription plan or cancel your account. Cancellations and plan changes will only take effect from your next renewal date. Please note that once canceled, any payments that have been taken until that point cannot be refunded, unless stated so in the terms and conditions. If you’ve registered for a Night Zookeeper account through the iPad/iPhone app, please access your Apple Store settings to manage your subscription.
How do I download and/or print my child’s work?
Screenshot your child’s work to download or print it! To do this, simply press Command, Shift, 4 (Mac) or ALT+PRINT SCREEN (most Windows devices) simultaneously. On tablets and smartphones, please use the screen capture feature.
How can my child work on spelling and grammar?
All of our educational activities are designed to target specific areas of spelling and grammar to help your child become the best writer possible. You are able to see the specific skills taught in our challenges and games on our user guide.
How do I install a speech to text extension?
To install a speech to text extension, please reach out to us at [email protected].
How can I share Night Zookeeper with others?
Refer your friends and earn money off your next bill! Get $5/£5 for every friend you refer. They'll also get $5/£5. Night Zookeeper has a friending feature that allows your child to follow their friends and leave comments on each other’s writing - the perfect reason to refer your child's friends to our program! To get your child’s friends started, simply share your referral link with their parents. Once their trial period ends and their paid subscription starts, you and your friend will get $5/£5 credited towards your next subscription payment! Here is the referral link and you can also find it in your dashboard. You can refer as many people as you like! You will receive $5/£5 bill credit for every successful referral. I seem to have a technical issue. What should I do?
For minor technical issues, please try logging out, clearing your browser's cache and then logging back in. If you find that you're still unable to fix the problem, please contact us via email on [email protected]. We ask that you provide us with as much information as possible as it speeds up the process of resolving any problems, e.g. child usernames, what browser and device you are using, a screenshot or video of the issue and anything else you think may be helpful.
I get a Network Error message when I try to log in. What should I do?
This can sometimes be caused when you have an ad blocker installed on your browser, here is a list of domains we recommend unblocking:
